Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Friends of the Missouri Breaks! Our membership is the backbone of FMB’s stewardship, advocacy, and education work. By becoming a member today, you will receive quarterly digital newsletters, as well as special notices about upcoming friends events and recent accomplishments. Most importantly, by becoming a member today you will be protecting and preserving The Upper Missouri Breaks Monument for generations to come.
FMB’s Partners are the fuel for our organization’s engine. Without them we would not be able to provide service opportunities for our volunteers, complete stewardship projects on the ground, provide educational opportunities and advocate for the protection and proper management of the monument.
Volunteering with FMB is a fun and easy way to support the monument and the Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument. Last year, volunteers provided over $25,000 worth labor into the monument, and we are on track to beat that this year. Sign up today join a community of people passionate about public lands, and to receive notices about upcoming volunteer events as well as updates on our recent accomplishments.
FMB is a 501 (c3) organization and has 3 year round staff and 6 to 10 seasonal workers depending on the project season. FMB operates on 3 pillars: Advocacy, Education, and Stewardship. Each of these pillars encompass a large scope of work for the organization.
Events and Volunteer Calendar
FMB is proud to provide opportunities for volunteers to give back to public lands through stewardship events within the Upper Missouri River Breaks Monument, and we are regularly found throughout Montana promoting recreation and raising awareness for the monument.
